I bought a pair of shoes from Sams at Emporia 11 days ago, and they are already worn out in the heels, with the seams starting to come apart, despite only having been used twice. I went back to the store to use my exchange right, which they claim is valid for one year. I was informed that it was not possible, with the explanation that the shoes have to be “damaged in the right places” for the exchange to be approved. However, I do want to highlight that the staff were polite and professional in their response. That said, this is still very disappointing. The product quality is poor, and the policy (or how it is applied) feels unreasonable. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this store based on this experience.
