I booked online with a confirmed price of 3,126.63 SEK to replace the front brake discs and pads. I compared prices at other Mekonomen workshops and they were almost identical (±100 SEK), so I chose this location for convenience. The workshop carried out exactly the service that was quoted, with no additional work. Despite this, I was charged 3,817 SEK. When I questioned the difference, the staff stated that the original quotation was incorrect and required me to pay the higher amount. The final price did not match the confirmed booking price, and no revised price was approved in advance. This is not acceptable consumer practice. I do not recommend this workshop.
