Väldigt fina hus som är riktigt söta. På husen finns QR-koder som leder till en virtuell guide genom byggnaderna. Verkligen ett trevligt interaktivt sätt att se hur livet var förr i tiden. Trevligt ställe med en fantastisk utsikt över hamnen. De gamla kranarna är imponerande och det finns QR-koder till en YouTube-video där man kan se kranarnas historia. Det finns en parkeringsplats med billig parkering precis vid sidan av kranarna. Detta är ett bra litet stopp :)

The staff were very friendly and totally made me feel welcome. Also the atmosphere was good & the drinks as well. The food was a little disappointing unfortunately. The first dish (fried shrimp) had no taste besides the cognac it was fried in. Also there were only 5 shrimp which were probably frozen. This in combination with a very large amount of liquid wasn’t really good. The main dish tasted good, the sauce was creamy and had a nice mushroom scent. The fries were crispy and I loved the dip. Unfortunately the meat was a little overcooked and tasted a bit boring. All in all it was a good evening with my friends last week but it wasn’t worth the price we paid.
Beautiful museum and nice houses that surround the museum. I went there using my bycicle which was a nice 50 minutes drive. Was totally worth it. Really a fantastic place. There also is a very nice place to eat a pick nic.
Good place to make a little stop and relax. Unfortunately it wasn’t possible to get completely up in the top of the lighthouse and it wasn’t clean. Still it’s cool to look at. Also there are toilets outside.
Totally a must go place when your in Umeå! This probably is one of the most vivid museums I’ve ever been. Starting from the ice age until futuristic art, this place covers everything. And it’s even free! While there could be more information in English (use the Google translator app), the artifacts are beautiful and the same goes for the houses as well. I also enjoyed all the artwork which was displayed. Thanks to me visiting the museum on a weekday not in season; there weren’t a lot of people and I could enjoy the art / objects. Totally recommend this place. Also, it’s easily accessible for people in wheelchairs and for cyclists there is a bycicle parking area.
Wow! Bodega really left me speechless. The interior, the music, the drinks & the food - it’s really a miracle to be in this awesome restaurant. I got a pretty cool seat and was able to look at what was goin on in the restaurant and loved the music that was played. My dinner started perfectly with a delicious Campari which was soon accompanied by delicious crispy bread with salted butter. Right next to me sat a Swedish lady who was talking to one of the waitresses regarding how delicious the food was, so I really got a excited. Soon after followed my appetizer: Thin sliced beef with cheese and some extremely delcious sour sauce. The dish really was heaven, it was creamy, hearty, sour and truly amazing. Also the main dish was really delicious. I had some fish, which had the perfect consistency and was served in a delicious & creamy white mushroom sauce. They even brought my extra bread so I was able to get every last bit of sauce out of the plate. The servers were really friendly and made this evening an amazing experience. They also recommended me a very delicious gin from Norbottens Län and a good local beer. This was probably one of the best meals I have ever eaten. If your are close by Umea, you really need to eat at Bodegan once.
Really gorgeous place, especially with the first signs of autumn appearing! The buildings are interesting to look at and are in a perfect shape. There are a lot of signs which explain what has happened in the respective building and so therefore you really get a feeling of how life must have been back then. The old mile was spectacular and the sound of the water was so relaxing! I also enjoyed having a little Picknick at the public Picknick area by the river. The place really has an awesome history, starting as a factory, then becoming a flight field during WW2 and now beeing a free large open air museum. There even was a retro looks which compleated the awesome atmosphere. Totally recommend it! You can easily park in front of the mill and the area is easily accessible.
Nice place with a great view over the Harbour. The old cranes are impressive and there are QR codes to a YouTube video where you can see the history of the cranes. There’s a parking lot with cheap parking right on the side of the cranes. This is a good little stop :)

Fantastisk vandring runt sjön. Jag älskade känslan under fötterna när jag gick längs leden. Utsikten är fantastisk och man är mitt i en tyst natur. Har inte sett någon så det är den perfekta platsen att koppla av och samla några goda tankar.

Micael och hans fru är extremt vänliga. Rummet var rent och sängen extremt bekväm. Hela huset är mycket charmigt och man kan lätt se den kärlek som värdarna lägger ner på denna fantastiska Airbnb. Frukosten är också fantastisk. Om du har en fråga om området hjälper värdarna dig perfekt.

A very nice restaurant with an amazing view over the bay. The interior is in a very interesting scandivaien design and the staff are very friendly. The prices are ok and you have a good selection of food & drinks. The fish was fresh & good (especially the texture) but some more spices would have given the dish it‘s „kick“. But I can definitely recommend the restaurant.
The location is very good (extremely near to the sea) and the staff are friendly. But the place is absolutely overpriced. For the 300 kr you get a place for your tent and 1 minute & 30 seconds of water in the shower. If you have shampoo in your hairs when the time is over you have to hold the badge against the scanner and they will charge you for another 1 minute and 30 seconds each time you hold the badge on it. So one shower cost me 90 kr and the shower wasn’t even clean. Because there is not enough gradient, the whole room was flooded. I can have a cheaper & better shower in Zurich, one of the most expensive cities in the world. Also the place was very noicy, I had troubles sleeping because people were loudly playing music and watching tv, even after 24:00. Also the wifi only covers the entrance area, so I had to go to the reception each time when I wanted a connection. The staff did nothing against that. For one night it‘s ok. If you visit, I can recommend you a visit to fyrudden, which is a nearby village with good restaurants.
A very powerful and interesting place. Not only the drive to the location is an adventure, also what you can experience there is. You can easily imagine how magic this place must have been for the ancient civilizations that build the graves. I can definitely recommend i! But be aware that currently you can not park there (the parking sign had a red x on it).
Amazing hike around the lake. I loved the feeling under my feet while walking the trail. The views are fantastic and you are in a silent nature. Haven’t seen anybody so it’s the perfect place to relax and gather some good thoughts.

Very nice old houses in a lovely environment. You can hike around the houses in the street and enjoy the forests that surround this old & lost place. There are also a lot of tables & benches so you can sit down and have a snack. Unfortunately the descriptions where only in Swedish so I was only partly able to understand what was written. It’s a nice place if you have time & need a hiking destination, but I wouldn‘t directly drive to this place just to visit it.

Very nice place. Great for taking a bath and there is also a hiking track. Everything is clean but unfortunately there is no recycling trash. You can sleep there which is comfortable, but it can get quite crowded.
