We loved our stay here. On top of the nice service and sweet personnel, the breakfast buffet had a perfect combination of sweet and salty options, the family room we had was big enough and the hotel felt really clean everywhere. There was a large common area with a comfy sofa for our building with a small kitchen, which helped us a lot on the evenings kids were tired after skiing. There is an even larger common area with a playing/crafting room with a more relaxed/quiet space next-door which was perfect on days were the kids still had energy to play and make friends, while we read or drank some tea by the fire. The STF also has a fully equipped kitchen and a sauna, and we enjoyed the local and high-end gastronomy at the restaurant on 2 occasions - which was also welcome on days we didn't feel like cooking! :) All in all, I highly recommend this place. I thought the 20 min drive to Järvsöbacken would be a downside to our stay here but, to be honest, it allowed our kids to sit down and take a quick break before/after the busy skiing day, and didnt bother us at all!
När de öppnade mot slutet av covid-pandemin var det en sådan lättnad att kunna komma och jobba utanför huset och träffa lite folk på en avkopplande men seriös plats. Jag tycker så mycket om att inte behöva pendla hela vägen till Östermalm …
