The best place for young people in Sollentuna – Arena Satelliten is truly something unique! Arena Satelliten is so much more than just a youth center – it is a place where young people have the opportunity to develop, meet, create, express themselves and just be themselves. I have been here for several years and every time I step into the building I feel welcome, seen and inspired. The staff is incredibly committed, warm and supportive. They take the time to really listen to us young people, our ideas, our projects and our dreams – and help to make them come true. There is always someone to talk to, whether you need help with something creative or just having a bad day. You can tell that safety and community are at the center. The premises are also really good – fresh, creative and full of possibilities. There are studios for music and film, dance halls, stages, computers, soft hanging surfaces, and lots of technology that we get to test and work with. I have been involved in several projects here, both as a participant and sometimes as a leader, and it always feels like you get full support to do something really cool – whether it’s a film shoot, a show, a camp or a creative workshop. It’s also a place that really takes young people’s initiatives seriously. If you have an idea, they listen. If you want to organize something, you get the chance. And it never feels like it has to be perfect – the important thing is that you dare to try and grow. It’s hard to put into words how much Arena Satelliten means to those of us who are there often. It’s like both a safe place to land, and a springboard to everything you can become. A place where friendships are made, ideas are born, and where you learn about both life and yourself. I wish all young people in Sweden had access to a place like this. Arena Satelliten is truly great. ❤️
