I was very skeptical of an overnight cruise. But as they say never think too much about anything and just go with the flow. That what i did with this 12 hours cruise. It was very relaxing and comfortable. The cabin was big enough for us and the bathroom was clean and functioning. The shop had a cafeteria decked with different kinds of food from single serving desserts to sandwich to ala carta. Service was nice too. They have a nice small duty free shop , music area, fitness center etc. We went up on the deck and it was very relaxing. We saw the gorgeous sunset and appreciated nature’s beauty with humankind’s technology. If you are traveling from Sweden to Finland take the Viking cruise and enjoy the ‘archipelago’ and the sunset.
This spot comes with a higher price tag due to its prime location in Gamla Stan, near the Nobel Prize museum. However, the staff makes up for it with their exceptional politeness. When we needed to use the restroom, they kindly directed us to their adjacent restaurant, which has facilities available - as long as you make a purchase and show the receipt. Interior is so nice too with modern and vintage style. Will definitely come here again.
Royal historical landmark. It’s next to the palace and Nobel museum. Royals use the church. We didn’t go in so missed the marvelous architecture and artifacts inside. Bummer !
I didn’t hear about this place until my friend told me. It is a halal spot with lots of options to choose from the menu. Food came fast enough. All the dishes were exquisitely presented and yummy to taste. Kids ate theirs with great satisfaction. Naans, curries everything was good. It hit the right spots in our pallets. Restaurant is very quiet. Maybe we went at the end of the day on a weekend. The staff of the restaurant were impatient. They were waiting to close it and wanted us to eat faster. Got a bit grumpy when we ordered another dish too. So dont come during closing hours. Otherwise i would come here again. There is a nice water area outside the restaurant. It is so lovely and peaceful. Restaurant also has outdoor patio. Take your food and enjoy the nature during summer time.
Medelmåttig mat här. Smakade generiskt märke. Inget speciellt. Jag åt samma vaniljkrämscroissant på Saluhall och den smakade färskt och fantastiskt. Kundservicen är bra och de verkar vara upptagna eftersom de ligger i hjärtat av Gamla Stan. Det finns ingen toalett här.

Glass är så populärt här. Överallt finns det ett glasscafé eller en glassbar. Jag gillade inte deras glass. Så vi tittade in på det här caféet. Vi blev fascinerade av de rörliga muggarna och alla andra prylar. Vår beställning var perfekt. Men när jag trodde att jag skulle njuta av min glass hittade jag ett hårstrå 🤮. Jag drog fram det och tappade det innan jag hann ta en bild. Jag blev så äcklad. Sedan insåg jag att caféet var väldigt smutsigt. Golvet, stolarna och borden. De behöver anställa fler för att hålla stället rent. Kommer inte hit igen.
A nice mall next to Gamla Stan and the main touristy area. You can buy your necessary things from here. We had to dash in for something and we found it. The store assistant was very cooperative and helped us decide which one we should buy.
We enjoyed our time exploring the old town of Stockholm. I don’t know why but it felt like I was here before. The colorful buildings looked like straight out of a fairytale book-skinny tall colorful building, cobblestone, cafes, statues. There are all kinds of souvenirs shops from herbs, handmade souvenirs, art, lovely cotton and wool clothes, old books, cameras etc. We spent the whole morning just walking around alley after alley and did not get tired. The energy here is so infectious. Everyone is smiling, eating and there is live music too. A must visit if you come to Sweden.
Första gången jag kommer till den här klädbutiken i Europa. Fina kläder. Kvaliteten är bra men vissa av dem verkade överprissatta. Situationen i omklädningsrummen är hemsk. De borde ha separata omklädningsrum för båda könen. Väntekön är för lång.
Trevlig hamn att stanna i direkt efter ett besök i Vikingamuseet. Du kan ta med dig din glass eller läsa en bok. Det finns gott om bänkar att sitta på och titta på båtarna. Bryggan är mycket ren.
Vi njöt av vår tid när vi utforskade Gamla stan i Stockholm. Jag vet inte varför, men det kändes som att jag hade varit här förut. De färgglada byggnaderna såg ut som direkt hämtade ur en sagobok – smala, höga, färgglada byggnader, …
Nice grocery store. It is well stocked up and has everything. Everything is written in Swedish so a little bit hard to understand when you buy packaged products. We thought we were buying whole wheat bread then came home and found it was white bread. Cashier girl was very friendly and helpful and knew english very well.
Färjeresan var smidig som smör. Det luktade inte heller illa av fisk. Interiören var tillräckligt rymlig för att alla skulle kunna sitta. De har till och med ett separat område för husdjur, barnvagnar och rullstolar. Bra service.
