I was stranded late evening with car due to a tyre failure at a highway services station. Richard passed by on the way to attending another job. He offered to source another tyre & made calls to his local contact. In meantime he called recovery vehicle & got the vehicle to their company garage. Alternative was to hire a car to get back home & collect other wheels. It was late evening, Richard called his contacts & managed to arrange a hire car for me. Meanwhile my car was transported to RMS. I decided on car hire & drove to collect my other wheelset. On my return, tools & car jack were left by Richard so I could change the wheels & continue my journey North. In the following days I settled the costs. If there was ever a man to be called a “Good Samaritan”… his name is Richard 🙏
