We ate and had drinks here while on vacation for WRC in February. I just remembered how amazing this little spot was. The food was so delicious. It was fairly simple, but perfectly executed. Minimal table service which is preferred for someone like me who desires privacy when dining. A nightcap of crème brûlée and cocktails had my date and I falling in love with our trip to Umea. Cannot recommend highly enough if you like a small private date night instead of a bustling noisy restaurant.
If you are traveling through or to Umea I’d add this to your list. River lake huskies took my girlfriend and I on a delightful jaunt through the Swedish woods and was so so helpful with the logistics of getting to and from the city. It was a short tour, but the enthusiasm of the dogs, the creaking of the sled, and the good cheer of our guide made it a remarkable and memorable experience. (FYI our tour was in February)
