We cannot recommend this place. There are much better kennels! Here you find mass tourism at the expense of the dogs. We were there in winter 2024/2025. They let run so many dogs at the same time (16 sleds in total with 5 dogs on each sled) that the first dogs to be put on the lines jumped into the lines eager to start for more than 1 hour until start (we asked one of the guides when they had started putting the dogs on the lines). Some of the dogs seemed to be scared or sick - we saw shivering dogs, very skinny dogs, tucked in tails and diarrhea. We were surprised to find out that there were no retired dogs at that kennel, a question regarding this was answered evasively. Our guide (the kennel manager) was a rude man who yelled at the people driving the sled in front of us for making an unintentional mistake (something that hadn’t been explained to the group during the short (5min) explanation before the tour). Plus we witnessed him handling some of the dogs in a very ungentle and shocking way. A last, but very insignificant detail compared to everything described above: a cinnamon bun was included in the tour price, but there was not enough for everyone. The tour itself was nice, it’s so peaceful to glide on the sled through the snowy landscape, but after all we left the kennel startled and with the impression that the dogs (and guests) are not always treated properly. We had been to a different (much smaller) kennel a couple of years ago and there we had a much better feeling considering dogs and atmosphere. So choose wisely where you book!
