After a frustrating experience at Munksjöstadens Bilverkstad on Jönköpingsvägen, where I was wrongly informed that I needed to replace the washer pump even though the problem was ice in the system, I turned to Ålunda Verkstad in desperation. At Ålunda Bil, they clearly showed me how extensive the ice build-up was. They honestly informed me that replacing the washer pump might not solve the problem. I was surprised, because at the previous workshop I had paid for them to melt the ice. Ålunda offered to try to melt the ice by parking the car indoors, but warned that it did not guarantee success if it was parked outside. For almost two hours they struggled to melt the ice with hot water and other methods. Although they could not promise a result, they put a lot of time and effort into helping me. Between 1:00 PM and 2:45 PM, I handed in the car due to the extensive ice build-up. I had filmed the work so I could complain to the first workshop that misled me. Ålunda continued working on the car and promised to get back to me. They managed to remove the ice and I was able to pick up the car the same day. I had summer washer fluid in the system and forgot to top up with winter fluid, so the entire system was frozen. Ålunda changed the fuses and tried different solutions. I am incredibly happy with the result – the windshield works better than ever! I experienced Ålunda as honest and responsible, and their treatment was fantastic. I saw their commitment myself during the two hours they worked. Ålunda Verkstad really saved the situation, and I will definitely turn to them in the future. I recommend Ålunda Bil to everyone – their honesty, responsibility and professional treatment are invaluable.
