Bjärno Byggsystem was the company that was hired to build my carport. Shortly after completion, we discovered several defects, which were immediately reported to the company. The most serious defect was extensive water damage to the sandwich panel. The defect was reported both in writing and verbally to the company owner, Ola Bjärno, in May 2024. He visited the site in November of the same year and confirmed that measures would begin in early 2025. Shortly thereafter, all contact with him ceased. After repeated attempts to reach the company, we finally received a response from MARWA HAIDAR, who requested pictures of the damage - despite these having already been sent and Ola having personally inspected the damage during his visit. At first, they gave the impression of wanting to take responsibility and fix the problem, but it soon became apparent that they were instead trying to delay the process. It has now been a year since the defect was first reported and the damage has still not been fixed. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company and will take legal action.
