Today I was at the health center. My eyes are swollen, inflamed and extremely sensitive to light. I was well prepared and brought all the eye drops and medications that I use. I tried to explain to the doctor that my eye problems have existed for a long time and that it is important to find a solution, since I work as a driver. During the entire visit, I felt that the doctor was not listening to me, but just wanted to get through as quickly as possible. He quickly looked at my eyes and then did an eye test with a chart. Since I can see well, he said that there is nothing wrong. Then I ask myself: should you go to a doctor first when you can no longer see? I pay a lot of taxes every year, I came there with a real problem – but I didn’t get a solution, no help, nothing. Now I have to go to a private eye doctor and pay a lot of money, just so that someone will take my problem seriously and actually give me real help. :(
