Booked a round with my father-in-law when we were on holiday on Öland, 18 holes. There were only two of us, but we had 3 4-balls in front of us. These balls refused to let go, which resulted in us waiting about 15 minutes at each tee to be able to continue. After 9 holes/3 hours and 20 minutes we got tired and asked for half the green fee back, which was completely impossible. They were going to "send an old man out to check the balls in front, so they could let us go". If you can't control the game so everything runs smoothly, you can quit, extremely poor service. We come to Öland every summer but will never return.
