Västtjärnslindan, located in Sweden, is an ancient summer village, approximately 450 years old. It has perfectly preserved its traditional way of life, just as its ancestors once lived there. During the summer, we raise pigs, chickens, cows, and goats, milking the cows to make traditional cheese and baking bread using the same methods our ancestors used. We have no running water or electricity; we use firewood for cooking and heating in our homes. Water is collected collectively within the village. It's a wonderful way to continue this ancient tradition. As a Thai person, I am very happy to be a part of this village.
