Beautifully situated in the middle of Gustaf Adolfsparken is Gustaf Adolfskyrkan. The church was built in the early 1890s as a garrison church in neo-Gothic style. The architect was Carl Möller. The west gable and the chancel wall have large rose windows. The interior is decorated by Agi Lindegren. The church was owned by the officer corps of the Svea and Göta Livgarden, but was purchased in the 1960s by Oscar's congregation. A restoration took place in 1967-68 under the direction of architects Björn Linn and Erik Helenius. Gustaf Adolfskyrkan was consecrated in 1892 by Bishop Gottfrid Billing.
