Very nice and caring treatment during my gastroscopy. I chose not to have any sedatives and thought it was a good choice as I could easily focus on my breathing throughout the examination. Those with negative experiences here in the reviews have probably suffered from panic for various reasons. If you prepare yourself mentally and breathe calmly so as not to panic, the examination only takes a few minutes. I think it's all about your mental attitude as the examination itself is completely painless. I have a hard time seeing how a gastroscopy could be better than this! It's not fun for anyone to undergo but sometimes you have to and I think the doctors and nurses really did their absolute best to make it good for the patient. In retrospect, I'm surprised how easy it was and I'm not nervous if I need to do it again in the future.
