I would like to share my experience with the driving lessons I had in Globens Trafikskola in late June 2025. My first lesson with Kevin was a test driving session. After the drive he gave me some feedback on my mistakes, which was helpful. After that, I booked three lessons with Therese. From the very beginning, I explained clearly that I had my driving test coming up soon and that I booked lessons in Gullmarsplan specifically because it is close to Farsta, where my test would take place. I also emphasized that I needed focused practice on the highway and in Farsta. Unfortunately, this did not happen. Most of the lessons were spent driving around the city at low speeds, practicing parking and corner reverse maneuvers. Each time I asked to go on the highway, I was told maybe next time or that traffic was too heavy. I repeatedly reminded Therese of my request, but it was ignored. On the final lesson, just two days before my test, I was finally taken to Farsta and onto the highway. However, I was only allowed on the highway for less than five minutes before being exited at the first opportunity, even though traffic was not particularly bad. This was extremely disappointing, because practicing on the highway and in the actual test area was the main reason I booked these lessons. Overall, I feel my requests were not taken seriously, and the lessons did not prepare me in the way I had asked for. It would make a big difference if instructors listened to students’ needs and provided training in the specific areas that are most important for their test.
