Very disappointed, flowers didn't last two days in a vase of water and card was not filled out as per emailed instructions. And I did contact them by email afterwards to tell them of my disappointment about the card they screwed up and there was no reply to my complaint so their reply here is just a bs smokescreen to make it look that I didn't contact them at all. What were they going to do? Take back the card from my wife and magically make her forget she received it and resend it? Give me a break. The flowers wilting and dying was just an insult to injury.
Service staff were great. We were ushered to a terrible seating which should be just taken out as it's way too cramped. Could not hear the server because of the closeness of other customers. Completely lacked the intimacy you would expect from a high class restaurant. We requested to be moved which was a little embarrassing. We were moved to a better table. The service staff were excellent. Ordered two tasting menus, for some of the courses we had to share a bowl and I guess it saves the washing up staff work but I would have preferred to have individual servings just to make it easier using the chopsticks. Some of the food was really good, some of it was just a mess. Even a bottle of Chardonnay could not cleanse the palate and the aftertaste of fish, ginger and onions was unpleasant and lingering long after the meal, until I got home and brushed my teeth. The price didn't match the experience and the initial seating was truly awful.

Don't shop here unless it's an emergency. Vegetables and fruits are sometimes only a day away from rotting. Prices are very high because no competition nearby. Staff are nice so one star, beware of coupons on fridges with price cuts as there is small print on the back which shows you that it's only a few brand items which the coupon affects, when you see the coupon on the fridge its misleading as you think it applies to all of the brand. Example Ben and Jerry's 8 kronor off. When you read the small print it's only for a few flavours. Older people are the targets/victims of this kind of sneaky behaviour. Any price deals should make it very clear at a glance what it affects. No one is going around shopping reading small print, it's enough of a hassle already and it can only be assumed that either coop know this and are trying to screw customers or they are highly incompetent. Make up your own mind.

Scallop starter was tiny, no bigger than a thumbnail. Garlic bread was really good. Sirloin steak was inedible, just a pile of fat and gristle , amazing and shameful that the chef cooked this and served it, absolutely the worst meat I have ever attempted to eat. The vegetables were good so I didn't completely starve. The service was very amateurish. I asked for my fizzy drink to be served with the main course. It was served 30 seconds later, I mentioned the mistake and I was told it was on the house and another would be served with the meal when it arrived. When I mentioned the steak was not great and pointed to the plate full of gristle and fat, there was no acknowledgement, the waiter just walked away. Then to make this one of the worst dining experiences in skellefteå, the staff overcharged by 190 kronor and it was just by luck that I noticed it. A refund was given. This restaurant gets some things right but it's failure to serve an edible main course and some customer service awkwardness means it only deserves one star.
For a fast food restaurant the food works and is adequate. The staff are helpful. Good value for money.
The new version of this pub restaurant has basically gone backwards and very downhill. The food is not freshly cooked, the portions are tiny and something simple like fries were dry and hollow. If you can't make a bunch of fries decently then you know the chef is winging it and doesn't really care what he serves up. Even my kid could not eat a burger which was dry and tasteless and he is not fussy. There were three front of house staff, two guys who were dressed very scruffy, think homeless people on their worst day. One had an attitude of arrogance and probably belongs in a dogs home feeding dogs, the other was trying his best but woefully unengaged. The female member of staff deserves the two stars I give here for effort and a smile. Absolutely no atmosphere, tables were dirty and sticky, wobbly and uneven. If you are looking for disappointment then you will find it here , in the food, the staff and the atmosphere.

Your experience at this place depends on which customer service person you get to help you. Some of the young people working here are very helpful and professional, some of the older generation are grumpy, lazy and uninterested in giving the best customer service experience. In the computer section there are so many different prices on an item that it just seems designed to confuse the customer. These offer insurance, installation and 2 year technical services which is just trying to suck money out of a customer. The main people that need help setting up their computers and require IT support will be older people so well done elgiganten on taking advantage of the elderly. They should have a free help policy for anyone over 60 if they had any Heart.
This place is absolutely terrible. Do not bring your children into this shop. Yes they have candy but when you go to pay you will see thousands of tobacco products proudly displayed in all colours and flavours, and since this shop is primarily aimed at children, then the tobacco products should not be sold here or even visible.
