I was in your store on 10/1-24 at 3:45 PM, I won't give the name of the woman behind the counter. I was surprised by the treatment I received when I asked if you have glasses for colorblind people. First, I get a response that I have to book an examination that costs between 500-600 SEK to be able to determine what color vision I have. I answer that I am a protan and am interested in glasses for indoor use. She says that it is to determine that I do not have vision problems. But I know that I do not have that because I recently had a test. And I am so well-read on the subject that I know that a more thorough test is only done to see if color vision has been acquired due to injury. But since I was born colorblind, that is not the case with me. She insisted that I have to book a test anyway and that she is not allowed to sell the glasses over the counter. Then I say that I have to check with enchroma because I think that sounds strange. Then she gets much more irritated with me and takes out 4 pairs of enchroma for outdoor use and says that these are the ones she can sell over the counter and if I am so knowledgeable about the subject then I should know which of the glasses I should have from the ones she had on the counter. I explain to her once again that I am interested in indoor use and the ones she presented to me are for outdoor use. She then says that she knows nothing about the subject and that I need to make an appointment. She said that you are new to enchroma and are undergoing training. I then ask how long you have had enchroma and it turns out that you have had them for 6 months. It is not recent to me and the fact that you do not advertise enchroma in your stores is strange. Is it true that you are trying to get some kind of monopoly on enchroma in Sweden? Considering that I have lived with a visual impairment (protan) my whole life and then seek out a company that is supposed to be professional, I do not expect this kind of treatment. After today and the treatment I received at Glasögonmagasinet, I will not recommend you to people with color blindness. Even though it will now be more expensive and possibly more complicated for me to order enchroma directly from enchroma in the USA, I will do it out of principle. I hope you will address these problems you have in your company Glasögonmagasinet and solve them so that people with color problems can get better customer service. /A former customer
