⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic place! Rustik House is in a perfect location right by the lake with an amazing view. The house itself is beautiful and definitely worth visiting. There’s also a boat available for fishing, plus a sauna and jacuzzi which makes the stay even better. A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Highly recommen

Sehr schönes Haus am See….Minuspunkt, weil die Dusche gleich bei Anreise im großen Schlafzimmer verstopft war. Jedoch gleich von einem Fachmann erledigt wurde und Minuspunkte, weil der Überlauf der Zisterne Richtung See abläuft und es permanent nach Gulli stinkt.

I’d like to start this review by objectively stating that the house itself is very comfortable and matches the description. However, it’s worth noting that it’s located right next to a busy road, so noise is an issue, and it’s not a peaceful, quiet retreat. My negative rating stems from a situation I find unacceptable. When renting the house, I paid a security deposit, and we agreed to leave the property in the same condition we found it. After our stay, we cleaned the house and disposed of the trash in the bins outside. Lena (the host) arrived on our checkout day to inspect the house, as new guests were arriving soon. She raised no concerns during her inspection. Five days later, I messaged her about not receiving my deposit refund. She claimed we had sorted the trash incorrectly, resulting in a 500 SEK fine for her, and she insisted on deducting half of the deposit (which was twice the amount of the fine). I reluctantly agreed to cover the penalty, even though, after five days, there’s no way to confirm whether someone else might have tampered with the bins. Issues like this should be resolved on the day of checkout. Additionally, despite asking three times for proof of the fine, she never provided it. If you plan to stay at *Rustic House*, be prepared for hidden costs that Lena won’t substantiate. There are far better places to stay with hosts who don’t resort to dishonest tactics.
