SATS Mölndal

It is a very new and nice gym. The staff is very friendly, especially in the morning. The machines are very new and everything works fine, if there is an issue they fix it quickly. The bathrooms are fine, not very big, but since I don’t go in peak hours I don’t have any problems. However, there are two issues at the moment. There is a problem with outside shoes, there is no place to leave them at the entrance so you have to take them to your locker, but when it’s wet the shoes make everything very dirty, there should be a solution to this. The other problem is that there are not many group classes and the schedules change constantly. There are only 1 or 2 yoga classes in the week, there should be more. They have a nice offer since it is the beginning of the year.

SATS Mölndal is one of the best gyms in Gothenburg if you look at their price and wide range. The premises are three floors and it basically has everything you need. What really sets this gym apart from many others is the customer service. The staff is extremely good, always helpful and nice. The reason it doesn't get a five is a few small but important details. The water pressure in the showers is really weak and should be increased. The lockers in the changing rooms are many, but unnecessarily small. Rather fewer, larger lockers so you don't have to push your bag in and rummage around every time. A boxing cushion would have been a good addition. A higher wooden wall in the sauna so you don't burn yourself (this has now been fixed!). There are also quite a few empty spaces that could be filled with more equipment or stations. However, my feeling is that they may not be investing in more investments right now, as it is mostly empty of people. But at the same time it is an advantage for us who train there. You can go there any time and work out in peace and quiet. Really good gym, and with a few small improvements it would have been a definite five.
