Stallhagen

The cod was outstanding, I couldn't get enough of it. It was so soft and tender, it was boneless and the flavors were too yummy 🤤 The beer board was great, you can make your own beer tasting or just stick to their beer board.

Local brewery that has mostly lager like beers (includes the IPAs). If you are into lagers this is the place for you. The brewery produces a range of beers, like the 6% Pale Ale and Stallhagen Original, using local water and natural fermentation. Pub Stallhagen serves daily-changing dishes with local ingredients, which pair well with their beers. The staff is helpful, and the brewery tour provides insight into their process. The setting is pleasant, with a shop for beers and local products. It’s a decent stop if you’re in Åland.

Good food - misleading pricing Apparently this is a major tourist destination in Åland, and well deserved. The gastropub setup was cozy, pet-friendly, and next to nice natural views. We had the burger and the carbonara - burger was looking a bit skimp on the beef, but overall quite good. What is strange is the pricing - if you visit the attaches store, they advertise that you can try any of their beers @ 100ml for 3 eur - however, a 4 cup sampler costs 24 eur - your essentially paying 12 eur for the wooden board - bit ridiculous really.
