Before my first consultation, I was asked to do a sperm test at this clinic. The results came back extremely poor, suggesting I was effectively infertile. I pointed out that we should probably redo the test, since I had fathered a son just two years ago. It seemed highly unlikely that I had become infertile in such a short time, especially given that nothing had changed in my health or lifestyle. They refused to run a second test and insisted they never make mistakes. Instead, they told me I would need to undergo a much more expensive and lengthy examination at Karolinska Hospital. I was shocked by this refusal. It is standard practice to repeat a test when results are particularly serious or unexpected. So I sought a second opinion at a different clinic, and the results came back perfect. There was absolutely nothing wrong with me. When I returned to IVF Stockholm and expressed my frustration, the doctor essentially admitted: "I agree with you, but company policy is not to repeat tests, so I'm following orders." That response was perhaps the most disappointing part of this entire experience. I'm writing this review to warn others. Mistakes happen, that's human and understandable. What is not acceptable is a clinic's refusal to acknowledge the possibility of error, especially when the stakes are this high. This approach will not only cause patients to spend far more money than necessary, but may also seriously interfere with their family planning. I expected far more professionalism and respect for patients here. Edit: It's pathetic that the clinic tried to reply my comment blaming the refusal to make a second exam as "misunderstanding". I asked the doctor MULTIPLE times to do a second exam and the response as always the same: no! Or do you think I would go to different clinic, pay AGAIN for an exam, if a second exam could have being done for free here? Anyway, another reason to ignore this clinic. They not only make mistakes, but they also don't have humility to admit the mistake.
