Strandhuset

I recently visited Strandhust in Helsingborg and was really disappointed with the whole experience. First off, there’s no English menu, which made it difficult to understand the options. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, but when it arrived, the chicken was terrible, and just disgusting in taste. I immediately told the waiter, and he asked what I’d like instead. I chose a vegan dish, but he insisted I still pay for the original, which made no sense. The manager was rude when I spoke to him. He insisted the dish was fine, claiming he serves it all the time. When I asked if he would eat it himself, he said yes, which I found hard to believe because the taste was horrible. Overall, terrible food, bad service, and no effort to make things right. I won’t be coming back.

The Thai food is very nice👍 try curry or Pad Thai, you will love it. I ordered Red curry but the rice is just a bit which is not enough tbh ( I don’t eat a lot but still feel not very enough) So it will be better if offer more rice. Also I was kinda surprised that we didn’t get drink menu before the lunch menu. Need to ask for it. I feel more surprised that even I asked for the drinking menu but the lady waiter didn’t get the drink menu for me directly, but ask what do I want to drink. I mean if I know what I wanna drink then why would I want a drinking menu right? 😂

Perfect location and friendly staff. But the food could have been much better (pasta overcooked, tiramisu not so fresh). And the restaurant didn’t have the license to sell alcohol.
