Staff was very nice, extremely friendly - and the food was also great. But thats unfortunately all. We stayed in the main building, in room 524, and it seemed extremely outdated, with tapestry that was flaking in the corners, from what seemed to be water damage. The worst was the bathroom. It looked like something you would find at maybe an old school. NOT like the nice pictures of a bath they have on the website. I have no idea where that picture was taken, cause i did not find one bathroom like it, in the facility. The spa was fine. But nothing out of the ordinary. One outdoor pool, where the seats in the water wasnt deep enough for you to be fully submerged. No outdoor decor, besides some lamps out in the field. And worst of all, it was minus degrees, and nothing had been done to avoid slipping, but placing a few mats on the ground, which also became icy and then slippery. Not a great combo, when there is also alcohol to be served. Maybe a bit of salt? It overall just seemed like an afterthought. Maybe it started out as just a restaurant? I dont know. The reception and the restaurant had recieved a facelift, but seemed they forgot the rooms. Not worth the money. At all.

Very expensive for what is it or pretending to be. I’ve stayed in the main building and just as other reviews state - decor is decent, but you can never justify giving this place more than three stars when you find mould in the shower. Overall feel of the place is just okay, rooms are small and lack necessities such as kettle and small fridge. Location is nice, yes, but let’s be honest - most of Sweden outside the cities looks like one big national park so prizing it for the surrounding nature is little bit out of line. It’s a fly-by with nothing really that’s stands out or is worth to write home about. For €80 a night - maybe, but for more than twice as much, not really.

Wonderful place, really nice location and atmosphere BUT clearly Jews aren’t welcome here. Now, I assume this is not the place’s policy but rather the staff’s disgraceful behaviour but then you should hire more professional staff. Definitely not recommd this place if you’re Jewish. Shame.
