From the KRINGLA from the National Heritage Board, the following can be read about this exceptionally beautiful building that is part of the local cultural heritage: "The former courthouse of Tveta, Vista and Mo counties is built on a street corner in central Jönköping, a couple of blocks south of the railway station and the county theatre. The house is built in two and three floors with facades of yellow brick in many shades and a plinth of red natural stone. Light, rough-hewn natural stone covers half the ground floor and the round-arched windows and moldings are of smooth red natural stone. The building has a hipped manor roof clad with green-veined copper sheeting and the corner section, which is designed as a tower, is crowned by a vaulted hipped roof. The courthouse combines several design ideas, the rusticated ground floor and the round-arched shapes convey weight and closure, but the mixture of colors and materials, the festoons above the third-floor windows and the undulating contours of the roof gives the austere impression. The main entrance on the street corner is set behind a sturdy pillar in which is the plaque "Tingshus 1908". The entrance is reached via a dark gate or arcade that can be closed on both sides with black iron gates. The courtroom juts out into the courtyard and is marked by its high windows. There is also a garage in the courtyard, apparently built in the 1950s. The courtroom's staircase hall has a black and white checkered stone floor and painted parapet panels. The entrance gate has a rounded transom. Two steps lead from street level up to the landing where the courtroom's veneer doors open. Typical of the architect Kellman are the two wooden columns that seemingly support an arch over the stairs. Similar columns and arches can be seen in his courtrooms in Mellerud, Lidköping and Skara, among others. On the landing, to the sides, there are doors leading to the office and residential areas, a small door to a toilet, an old-fashioned drinking fountain and the narrow staircase to the second floor. The walls of the large courtroom are clad with wooden panels designed as mirrors with moldings and recessed doors. The floor is covered with parquet with a stone frieze along the walls. The ceiling is designed as a coffered ceiling with blue acoustic panels and wooden moldings. Lamps and clockwork appear to be from the 1950s when the entire current interior of the hall was probably added. The podium, counter and the court's fixed table are still there, as well as the witness booth and a smaller side table. In addition to the double door, there are four more doors. There are cells in the basement. The archive was used by the accounting firm and was (probably) on the ground floor."
