Alldrig mer! Två veckor innan avresa mot den bokade stugan fick vi reda på att den blivit dubbelbokad och att vi inte kunde få tillgång till den de dagar vi fått bekräftat …

Never again! Two weeks before departure for the booked cottage we found out that it had been double booked and that we could not access it on the days we had confirmed that we had booked and also paid. After much self-research we found out that a month after our final payment, Stugsommar received a message that we had cancelled the cottage, which we had not (system error). They apparently had not intended to pay the money back as we had paid for the cottage several months before departure. We contacted the homeowner ourselves privately who said that Stugsommar had said that we had cancelled the cottage two weeks after the final payment. Stugsommar said that we could access the cottage two days less than planned and with a postponed date. We agreed to this as we were 3 families and had activities booked. However, Stugsommar wanted us to pay full price despite 2 missed days but in the end they said that their system would pay out 1 day of the days we were not there. How does that math work? After many emails and calls to arrogant workers at Stugsommar who had done absolutely nothing wrong according to themselves and who absolutely could not pay out any compensation for the 2 days we lost on our vacation. We had to write to Danish Stugsommar and appeal the decision then after another 3 weeks and after further reminders that we would get the money for 2 nights but no compensation or apology. We did not even get a little sorry or compensation for the pain and suffering. Everyone we have spoken to drops their jaws when they hear our story. NEVER AGAIN STUGSOMMAR.

Rent out cabins that are not available. My family and I drove 4 hours to Österlen (Hällevik) when we had booked and paid for 3 nights from Stugsommar/Dancenter via Airbnb. Once there, we found out that there was no booking in our name so we just had to turn around and book something else. 1 month has almost passed and we have not seen any refund or compensation on the account. Stay away and report this company to ARN. Will wait a few more days and then we will have to report via Airbnb as well.
