Incredibly nice island in Hjälmaren. You get there by ferry from Hampetorp harbour. There you can go to the toilet, sit and take a coffee with you before you get on the boat. Ice cream kiosk is on the site until summer time. Free ferry but be there on time so you get a seat. You can park your car there and just ride over yourself. On the island you can rent bicycles, or be picked up if you have ordered a ride. There is an inn with lovely food and great service. Artist performance some evenings, you have to book a place for this as this is popular. There is a recycling flea market at the inn, open in the summer. Cafe Bakfickan with flea market and cafe is on the other side of the road and then a cafe in the old school with a little school museum. Parish hall that has services now and then. There is a bakery and pizzeria and sale of Hjälmaregös and crayfish. And at the bath in the north you can camp with a camper or caravan. There are a few places. By the way, there is a great swimming pool there and a kiosk that is open in the summer. Toilets are available both in the harbor in the south and at the swimming area.. There is a nature trail to walk around on and geocash is placed in a few places. There are some beds in the school or some cottages to rent on the island. Go out here and enjoy and fall in love with the island... It's easy to happen. A paradise in the helm. And remember to bring your trash and throw it in one of the trash cans. There is also a barbecue on the island but be careful and put it out after you. Good luck now and enjoy your visit.
