Absolutely amazing, located in a factory where handmade clay goods have been made for 160 years. Fair prices, beautiful wares and they will show you the salt kiln and the factory if you go into the shop. For the cafeteria: we didnt eat but we saw ppl get there food and they made exclamations about large portions. We had excellent local beer. Its a shady location by a small stream, not touristic although its close to E6.

A very lovely cafe with an open terrace and freshly made food. They also have their own brewery and they serve coffee in their own pottery. A pottery workshop with an oven is worth seeing as well! Happy that we stayed there on our way!

Vallåkra is a unique little gem in south of Sweden. The site hundred year’s of history of pottery, but with a much more recent restaurant. Came here for the Swedish xmas dinner (”julbord”) serving up a fantastic selection of well-cooked Swedish traditional xmas classics such as: smoked salmon, ham, ribs, meatballs and pickled herring. Service is very friendly, setting is amazing and the quality of cooking is great. Highly recommend a visit - for a traditional Swedish experience. - Value for money? Yes - Worth a detour?
