Shameful! I find a jacket with a stain on the shoulder for my daughter and ask if they have another item than the defective one, but unfortunately it is the last one. Then I put the item away. When I am on my way out, the cashier says that the jacket is 50% off because of the stain. I then take it to the checkout with the help of staff and wonder if they think the stain will go away, "yes with a wash, we can try with a wet wipe." which had some effect. Then the cashier thinks that the discount is no longer valid as the stain will probably go away. I point out that they encouraged me as a customer to get the jacket for half price, and that the discount is on the jacket, then they become unpleasant and start changing the price tag.
