I was really disappointed. The burger costs 94 kr (burger only), which already feels expensive, and it was so fatty that it kept dripping while I ate. There was roughly 20 ml of fat left on the plate afterward. For the price, I expected much better. I wouldn’t come back and I’d suggest going somewhere else.
Overhyped and Disappointing Dining Experience in Växjö We returned to this restaurant with high expectations after a great visit a year ago, but sadly this time it was a major disappointment. From the start, things felt off. Service was slow. Even ordering a drink took quite a while. One of the cocktails, a coriander-based drink, barely tasted of coriander except when sipping directly on the garnish, while the passionfruit cocktail was the only highlight at the bar. Champagne was good, but the wine pairings were poorly chosen: a sweet “Riesling” that tasted cheap and an underwhelming red that felt pushed on us rather than offered. The food was the real letdown. Despite pre-ordering, dishes took long to arrive, and when they did, they were inconsistent at best. Oysters (flown in from France) were offered first, but having had a bad oyster experience in the past, we declined. What followed bordered on farce: a “replacement” dish for one of us turned out to be nothing but a dollop of mayonnaise with crispy onions on top. More like a joke than food. Other dishes were no better: A mushroom “soup” that tasted like drinking cold gravy topped with oily chive oil. A squid dish so oversalted it was practically inedible. Finally, a beef tartare that was actually ok. The one truly enjoyable part of the savory dishes. A fish course with Jerusalem artichoke purée and chanterelles was poorly balanced, with only a few small pieces of fish worth eating. The main course, entrecôte, was impossibly chewy and sinewy, impossible to eat with chopsticks, and ultimately left untouched. When staff saw the untouched plates, they were professional enough to offer a discount or an alternative dish, but by then the disappointment was overwhelming. Desserts felt rushed: first a carelessly plated sorbet, then an extra surprise dessert of ice cream with lingon and white chocolate. The flavors here were decent, but far too little, far too late. On top of that, basic service slipped, our water carafe sat empty most of the evening. In the end, even after a discount, we essentially paid over 1,300 SEK for one good tartare and a few drinks. The setting of the restaurant was pleasant, but sitting next to the kitchen door with constant staff traffic ruined the atmosphere. Overall, the experience felt sloppy, poorly executed, and highly overrated compared to the reputation and the excellent meal we enjoyed last year. Based on this visit, we cannot recommend it, and will not be returning.
Nice touch with fire owen and contributes to a great atmosphere both with the heat and the little smokey heat. Over the years, this restaurant has fallen into pieces. The whole room stank of fire smoke, which got into the clothes. Something that might be good to know. And rhe schnitzel I order was worst ever. Frozen fried schnitzel that still was cold inside.
A terrific lunch and evening restaurant, that also transform to nightclubs some nights with great indie themed music and some times live gigs. The food is above average, sometimes amazing. The atmosphere is homey, inviting and warm. Definitely worth a visit.
A place with great potensial. The atmosphere is almost there, and the burger i great. Something that brings the nice burger down is that it's served on a paper that fast become a mess. A real plate would fix that, even if the presentation was very fine, the practicality wasn't there. Took burger of the month with mushrooms (chanterelle) in it. Reminds me of my favorite burger in copenhagen that was called the portabello burger that had two portabello mushrooms instead of bread. If you get that on the menu you have your 5-star review. Everything just need the final touch to make this place wurthy the really great burger you serve! 🤩
High quality sushi resturant with an intresting menu. Atmosphere is utban-cosy with very friendly staff. My poke bowl with marinated salmon was a taste sensation. And fully rights to serve alcohol. One of the best sushi restaurants in Växjö at the moment. Tested "Holybasil", and it almost didn't taste any basil. With that name you expect a lot of fresh basil in the stew, but no such thing. So keep to the sushi menu, that's what they are really good at. Others places needs to shape up if they wanna stay in the game!

This is the place to go whatever you need in wheels/tires. Personell have high level of knowledge, performing the tasks with high accuracy and are very serviceminded. I had a flat tire which they fixed right away in very best way without booking for very little money. Want to give them the warmest of recommendations.
