Hej Ulf.
Hi Jöns Petter Lidström, I had put this behind me, but your answer irritates me and it requires an answer. Don't blame me! I see that I have received an answer to the recession below regarding my purchase of weapons and installation of binoculars and silencers. I really wouldn't have cared about the answer, but now there were so many errors in the answer... First of all, please note that I did not buy the old suppressor (a Stalon suppressor) from Jaktia. This is wrong as I actually bought it from Jaktia several years ago. Jaktia installed the suppressor on the old recoiler I had and it went well, everything worked as it should, happy with the work. It was a recoiler in caliber 308w, just like the new one I have now bought, which leads us to error number 2 in the answer. You write that they were different calibers, which is therefore wrong. The old silencer was transferred to my new weapon in consultation with you as you/Jaktia considered that the old silencer was of good quality and that there would be no problem in transferring it. This was also included in the purchase. I picked up the new gun and when testing it turned out that all the bullets went down the breech. Of course I then returned to you so that you could fix the problem, a breech job. You test-fired my new gun with your reference silencer and it worked as it should. You also concluded that there must be something with the mounting of my old silencer on the new gun that caused the problem. I got tired of excuses and ended up buying a new silencer for my new gun and remounting the old silencer on my old gun (where it otherwise works perfectly). I talked to Stalon about the old suppressor and sent them photos of the suppressor and you can clearly see that the bullets have worn out the far end of the suppressor. Their answer was that the assembly was not done in a professional manner. Everyone can make mistakes and you could have at least admitted that a mistake had been made and tried to fix the problem. Now the cost of ammunition, travel time and working time are being brought up as arguments, which I also had to take part in, I also had ammunition costs and travel costs when I had to do the insertion twice. If this had been done correctly from the beginning, it would not have entailed extra costs for either you or me. Bite the bitter apple, accept that things can go wrong sometimes. What worries me most is your answer that you "did far too much in this business" as you write. If you do larger arms deals, you should be a little humble and service-minded, in your case it seems that customer satisfaction is not seen as an opportunity for future business! /Ulf Hi, I bought a new elk ricochet from Jaktia in Umeå and the price included moving the scope and silencer from my old gun. According to the gun technician at Jaktia, I didn't need to replace my Stalon silencer, it's good quality and there wouldn't be any problem moving it. But that was it... When loading it, it turned out that the bullets hit the top of the silencer and went down the hill. Back to Jaktia to report the problem and gun technician number 2 took the gun out for test shooting, with a reference silencer. It turned out that the gun was ok, but we already knew that, it's good to rule out the gun in any case. The question remained as to why the bullets hit the silencer. It turned out that the old silencer was incorrectly mounted. As a solution, it was suggested to buy a new suppressor (!) not to see if it could be solved with the old suppressor. So I ended up being allowed to buy a new suppressor and put the old suppressor back on my old gun (where it works perfectly by the way). Did I get any compensation? 10% on the price for the suppressor, otherwise I was met with an arrogant attitude, pay and be grateful... Jaktia in Umeå (the weapon technicians) have a lot to learn about customer service if they want to keep their customers!
