Tjörnbro Arena

Cold, bad noise, boring food and stomach ache after their food. It will take a lot before visiting this place again.

I stayed at Tjörnbro Arena for two nights. My booking was for the “Nature’s Haven - Upper Floor” room, but upon arrival I was given a room on the lower floor instead. The next morning, due to a storm, the electricity went out around 09:00. There was no light, no heating, no hot water, and no way to cook. There were also no staff members available at the reception, so we had no choice but to leave and return home for safety reasons. I contacted the hotel twice to request a refund for the second night, since the accommodation was not habitable, but I received no reply. In addition, I had a restaurant reservation at the hotel which was cancelled without any notice. Overall, very disappointing experience - both in terms of service and communication. I cannot recommend this place unless major improvements are made.

Was going to have lunch at that restaurant at the top with the lovely view. It was closed. Instead we went down to the complex itself. The food was so-so (eggplants had become a batter, e.g., most things were "overdone"). The red wine sauce was gone. The watermelons appeared when we were on our way out. The worst thing was the absence of a view. Despite many lights, the place was so dark that you got the feeling of a bomb shelter in Kiev. Good price for pensioners, but we didn't know that until we saw the sign when we went out (where smoke 60 bucks even though you are completely gray-haired,).
