ICEHOTEL

I didnt stay here i just visited the place. The Ice Hotel is an incredible experience and definitely worth visiting. There is so much to see, and the craftsmanship is absolutely amazing, it’s hard to believe the level of detail and creativity carved entirely from ice and snow. It’s also very informative, with plenty to learn about how the hotel is built and recreated each year. There were even a couple of small ice slides, which added a really fun touch to the visit. A memorable experience, recommended for anyone visiting the area.

Just back from a short Feb half-term stay at the hotel. Can't really fault it. The staff were lovely - helpful and friendly. Our cabin was simple but cosy. The breakfast across the road is outstanding! Such a variety of produce. It certainly sets you up for the day and should not be skipped. Although we didn't stay in an Ice Room, you can still see them all during the day and appreciate the effort put in by the sculptors. My kids loved the slide in the Ice Bar and I thought they were too old for that kind of thing! All the tours, transfers and logistical nonsense run perfectly. The clobber they give you for the stay is in good condition and is perfect for the husky/snow-mobile stuff. The best memory of our trip was definitely the first day, walking out our cabin at 1900 and greeted by the AB stretching across the skies doing its stuff. No need to get away from outdoor lights or use special camera settings to get a good shot. Just open your door and enjoy 😃

What an absolutely unforgettable experience. Sleeping in a room made entirely of ice, wrapped warmly in thermal sleeping bags laid over soft fur blankets, felt surreal yet surprisingly comfortable. It’s cold, yes but magical! Drinking whisky from a glass carved out of ice at the ice bar was amazing. A unique, once in a lifetime stay that I highly recommend.
